Of course they do, but as the pilot shortage looms and the contract carriers battle for the remaining pilots what happens? Pilots pay will increase to attract the remaining pilots thus the contract carriers will ask for more money from their mainline partners. What's mainlines reaction once that cost is in line with them doing the flying themselves?
