The E175 makes money. When they say renegotiate contracts they are talking bout the E145 and Dash 8. They don't make money.
The planes make money, especially with fuel prices what they are right now. The problem at RAH is staffing and fleet reorganization.
They didn't have the pilots to staff the Q properly while I was there, and now that the planes are going away, they want an easy way out of the leases for the remaining Q400s and 145s. Which Ch 11 does pretty easily.
