I also find it precious that some think that they can walk in off the street and be sent to pilot training without serving a day in a nonflying Guard/Reserve job. Sure, there are some units that fill their pilot training allocation that way but most Guard/Reserve pilot training slots are filled by people who are already in the unit in a nonflying capacity. It's called networking.

I know of three reserve pilots off the top of my head who went to UPT off the street. I'm aware the ANG is different.

I never blamed a lack military time for anything. Nor did I ever state whether or not I have any non-flying military time.
