Do you really think the DO would move to a small cargo outfit if he had a choice? I would guess that either he had to leave because he was the one they blamed (he was only partly responsible) or he didn't want to be here when it collapsed. I probably have more to lose if G7 goes down then anyone but without major changes they should be put to sleep. The only way to save it would be to make it impossible for them to abuse people like they have. That would take a contract with teeth. The TAed contract has no teeth, saying it does does not make it so! That would take the unionizing of the flight attendants (I've always hated unions but Gojet has given them no choice.). The union and company are trying to sell the contract by saying the company will no longer be able to abuse people without consequeses. It seems that they are telling us that we forced the company to mistreat us in the past. (Why did you force me to beat you!)
Also, look who the new DO is. He became chief pilot a year ago and now he is the DO. Gojet needed someone with experience who could turn the place around but instead they chose someone who has no idea how to do that job but who will have to learn on the job. An experienced proven performer would cost money but they did not want to spend money. indicates they are only thinking it will be for a short time. Best chance to save Gojet is to vote the TA down.
