The 30,000 foot view is constantly shifting as management deals with day to day operations. Thus you will at times see a reversal on something that was deemed appropriate months ago.

What you are seeing now is a continuation of that strategy. The bonuses that are being offered are unprecedented and just another solid reason why a new hire should choose Envoy. At times, attrition has been higher than management would like so this program should keep that in check. Yes, I understand that great opportunities arise from time to time, but it's mind blowing to see a super qualified Envoy pilot leave for a LCC when an AA job is just a few short years away.
All due respect, that is complete BS. Management made a money grab, pure and simple. They threatened, multiple times, the careers of everyone in the entire airline (unless they were lying, which is arguably worse). And over what? Savings of 0.1% of one quarter of your profits, over a ten year pilot contract. And they did this one year after the pilots signed an 8 year concessionary contract. You say at times that a reversal is necessary. What about a reversal that every single pilot saw years away? Maybe your 30,000 foot view blinded you to obvious details. 0.1% of one quarter of profit. We'll never forget what you did to us. Now we'll carry that memory through our long AA careers. So much for employee/employer relations.

If cancellations ever occur with regularity due to staffing at envoy in the near future, I think it will be important to let shareholders know about your "reversal," i.e. your incomprehensible lack of foresight.

And now the massive retirements of the industry are forcing management's hand, and you guys want to take credit for it. Go troll somewhere else.
