I just told the recruiter. I try to define my expectations from the beginning of any venture. In doing so, I defined my expectations of working for this "xyz" airline as the worst possible place to be in the whole stinking heap of the airline world. That way if it turns out to an awful place to work. Where every person you interact with tells you there leaving for a better airline ASAP. Then it will be what I expected and I will be content working at said airline. If it gets any better than that? Bonus!!!! Hurray for me.
The best way to be content as an airline pilot is to set realistic expectations from the start. Keep them low and you will be happy.
