"Happy" is a subjective term. Depending on one's history, a job may either be pleasant or an unmitigated disaster. There are unquestionably a goodly number of things that need to be improved here. Most of them stem from wishy-washy wording in the contract. Pay also is an issue that needs to be addressed. Having said that, it's also true that in my second year here as an FO I made what a 13 year 737 captain did at my last gig. Here's what it boils down to for me. If someone is depending upon a specific job to make them happy then things will most likely not turn out well. Happiness is something that works from the inside outwards, not the other way around. Do I think Atlas is in need of a serious face lift for our work rules and pay. Absolutely! Am I miserable here? By no means. I intend to do my dead level best to help our negotiators fight for those improvements. That doesn't mean I go to work each month with a scowl on my face. I still enjoy the flying and I enjoy those with whom I work.

I apologize for being verbose but thought it worthwhile to provide some balance to the discussion.
