Captain I was flying with this morning and I spent a couple hours talking about this. Does love the job, hate the company make sense? As a professional pilot there is an incredible amount of satisfaction cranking up a 747, screaming across two or three countries that don't speak English and making a good landing. I think to survive at Atlas you have to get off on that. There is a whole lot more involved that flying the noon DFW-ORD flight. Atlas management keeps saying we are a unique airline. Ok, if we're doing stuff nobody can do respect us for that and make it worth our while to deal with the hundred and one issues that don't come up flying between DFW and ORD.
