I'm from Quito, let me tell you something to all FLL pilots, Quito airport is the most challenging airport in South America, specially in Summer time, you will see in your ND (navigation display) the wind and the direction.... It's really crazy..!!!. Also you will see when you approach to rwy 18, are many go arounds there, is not just because the cross wind, is because you have the wind coming from every where, and at the end you will get tail winds with more than the Airbus limitation...very fun.... and try to find another one in Cuenca City "Mariscal Lamar airport" is like you are landing into a regular avenue, short, narrow with all houses around.
