It's not as simple as just turning on the ship's AC. There are a few more steps involved. It really isn't that difficult. I call to have it disconnected. If they don't do it promptly, I'll go down and turn it off.
No broad strokes just specific incidences. If I'm sitting in the back and my head is throbbing from the heat, someone isn't doing their job.
I've never advocated running packs concurrently with external air.
