This makes no sense whatsoever. You cannot be extended beyond scheduled FDP plus 2 hours. Where does the "extended unto 4 hours more than FAR 117" come from? Last I checked, a labor contract cannot be less lax than the FARs. The max in Table B for calculating the FDP is 14 hours scheduled. Add the 2 hour extension and you can only work for 16 hours...unless you get a major airborne delay.
My guess if you didn't correctly explain this. I don't see how this was signed off by your union or the company as being legal.
