Won't they have to negotiate a new contract in order to establish 747 pay rates since it's an aircraft they don't already fly? If so, why not shoot for the moon and bring pay and bennies upto par with industry leaders. It's cargo... The company always has the ability to pass cost increases to the customer and they'll pay them because planes are always faster and people always wait until the last minute.
