Being that I put my name and number out there publicly, I've had about 30-40 guys call/text me in the last couple of months. For those curious... the vast majority have been regional FO's, some recent upgrade regional captains. There have been a few 135 guys, usually in some sort of high utilization outfit (they get lots of hours) and a handful of cargo guys. The regional guys are almost always above 4k hours, with some exceptions. The 135 guys have been up there as well, but there were some who were right around 3k.
That said, there have been people who can't seem to yet get an interview that have over 5k hours, one guy who got a phone interview at 1500 hrs, and a ton still waiting for the phone call that have well more than the average experience.
As has been said before, it's a little bit all over the map, but the majority of new hires (at the moment) have ample hours, are at least in their late 20's (mostly in their 30's) and are on their 2nd or 3rd flying job. For as much negativity as Allegiant takes, they can still seem to grab that kind of applicant.
There are the outliers for sure. So keep applying, and go to those meet and greets, no matter what your experience level; you're pretty much guaranteed not to get called if you don't (I know there are exceptions).
