Statistically speaking, the "9"s aren't the norm at all. And that's only about a third of the class chiming in. Bummer.

As far as knowing the SSN rack and stack, I agree with both sides. On the one hand, yes, you really need to order what planes you want so you're prepared for anything. On the other hand, it's kind of nice to know where you actually will fall. Yes, that's a crapshoot since you rarely get EVERY single SSN submitted, but if someone wants to do the work, why stop them?
