Hi, all
I have a DVD made by World Air Routes on the MD 83 with the airline
Jets Go out of toronto. Just to give you background info, what the DVD does is it gives you a pilots view of various trips, including preflight planning, preflight of the A/C, cockpit presentation, basically everything involved, including arrival and landing. Anyway, one of the flights was from Toronto to Vancover. They did the Stage Three arrival (for those who fly into there) and they came what looked no more the a few thousand feet from the mountain tops. I was juist curious is that fairly standard for operating in the rocky mountain areas being so close to those mountains. I am from the northeast never flown out that way before. Though it was pretty cool looking
