Thanks for highlighting my problem with this little Douche.
He doesn't work for AA and isn't a AA pilot (not yet), yet wears verbiage that the general public might think he is. That eclipses all his little gel haired, selfie act and qualifies for TOTD, maybe even a runner up in the yearly semi-finals.
In over three decades of flying, I've run across nearly a dozen instances of commuter owned or affiliated claiming they are AA pilots in bars, in airports, on webpages and even to FA's onboard while traveling to an Eagle interview, yet I have never seen the same in reverse. (One even stood in my face repeating "I am AAL" while demanding first jumpseat priority of 5 guys on the jetbridge consisting of 3 AA, this Eagle guy and a Northwest pilot)
90% (or whatever #) should flow up without question. Great pilots and true professionals. The rest should get a serious evaluation and rejected if needed. I'm total civvy and I speak of the same clowns I couldn't stand as CFI's and in Part 135.
