If you live in FLL and are based there, no wonder. But those that have families spread across the country and want to fly family members, having the big 3 for ZEDs is absolutely important.
Not sure what you mean? NKS is my first 121 job, but not my first job. Why does everyone assume you have no idea about the workplace if you haven't worked 121 before? Sorry to burst some bubbles, but this has been the easiest job I've ever held.
That being said, the question comes down to whether ZED is part of the compensation package or a perk. If it's part of the compensation package, then I want all the ZED, but will gladly negotiate it away for higher pay, retirement, LTD or something more useful. If it's a perk, well then, it's at the whim of the companies involved.
