The competitive SIC pay is probably double what most most Regionals pay F.O.s. The 401k match is 4% when the pilot puts in 5%.

Having been a Charter and a Major airline pilot (I loved them both!), I want to emphasize that charter flying is very different from airline flying. It is for the pilot that is looking for a close nit group and significant autonomy/responsibility. The clientele, the locations, and mission focus is quite different. That is why living in the base is required.

Yes, soft days off are not implied to be guaranteed. They come when you have a few days of MX or just a slow time with charters. Hard days are exactly that. This is not a commuters job. That requires a large operator.

Fortunately, there are many diverse opportunities in the Industry right now. Jet Edge does value its pilots and takes good care of them. If you understand the difference and are interested send a resume to Rosey. <[email protected]>

Have fun out there! No matter what cockpit you choose it is the best office on the planet!
Looks like Jet Edge is looking for GIV/GV pilots for VNY and TEB. Do they not recruit from within (i.e., offer the jobs to current G200 pilots)? Or do they just go for pilots with the types?

What is the trend for where new hires are coming from? The regionals or from other 135/91 operators?
