The point was if someone is going to come on here and lecture us, you would think it would be from someone who has a stellar contract, like a FedEx or Delta guy, not a retired Alaska pilot.
You weren't there for the strike. What have I done? I voted yes to ALPA, contrary to your belief. That's a start. I don't see what lecture you are referring to. What he said was low labor cost is a part of the ULCC model. There are only 2 ULCC carriers in the U.S., Spirit and Frontier and it speaks for itself. Ditto for Europe's largest ULCC carrier EasyJet.
