Agreed, but those code share and eventual JV links result in production balance agreements. This along with the increases at other "partner" (and I use that term loosely because 49% equity in a global equity market gives you operational control) airlines increases dependence on and elevates their side of the production.
All of this is great for the corporation and should prove to be a beneficial business plan because of the first mover advantage but the only way pilots prosper from this flying is through profit sharing.
