I just can't justify moving my family to some place we don't want to live, and then move again in 6 months as things change. Is that really how it works??
No idea where you will end up????
I know that is how most airlines operate but at least most airlines make commuting an option.
Don't worry that much about bases, by the time you are done training you should be able to re-bid to wherever you need based on your fleet... especially in Florida. If you want a small base like BLI or OAK you might need to wait it out a while in Florida. Keep in mind if you bid the 80 you might want to be comfortable living in SFB or LAS, since eventually that will be their only domiciles.
