It's a trickle-up shortage. First it was Cape Air and the likes, now regionals. Majors next, but likely a ways off. Ab- Initio is a smart pre-emptive move, albeit a little insensitive to announce when several qualified and eager applicants aren't getting interviews. But then again, that is a four-year training footprint.
