Screw the lifetime warranty. They will always find a reason not to repair you bag. With that being said, the worst thing that can happen will and it will always be at the start of a long trip. A-la you handle not extending etc. Pony up and buy the PNT bag and you will be much happier in the long run. Stay away from the cheap-o immitator bags and Travel Pro. I have had more bags than one crew-member should and so far the best has been the PNT bag followed by a Samsonite crew bag that is no longer made.
