Default Previously a flight attendant?

So I'm currently a flight attendant for one of the majors making decent pay, gaining some seniority and not commuting. I'm also currently working on my CFI but sometimes I feel like saying screw it I'll just keep this FA gig and start traveling the world to surf. I guess I'm just becoming discouraged/impatient because I've been doing everything part 61 pay as you go and it's just dragging along for over 4 years now. To be honest when I go into work I usually think to myself multiple times throughout the day that there's no way I could just be a flight attendant for the next 40 years, I'd have to do something else on the side, like open a business or something lol. Anyways my question is for any previous FA's out there who are now pilots. Is being a pilot at a regional still better than being a flight attendant at a major? was all the hard work worth it? Any regrets, advice, any input would be appreciated.
