I guess I'm just becoming discouraged/impatient because I've been doing everything part 61 pay as you go and it's just dragging along for over 4 years now. To be honest when I go into work I usually think to myself multiple times throughout the day that there's no way I could just be a flight attendant for the next 40 years, I'd have to do something else on the side, like open a business or something lol. Anyways my question is for any previous FA's out there who are now pilots. Is being a pilot at a regional still better than being a flight attendant at a major? was all the hard work worth it? Any regrets, advice, any input would be appreciated.
If you are getting your CFI, you are close to being able to earn money and hours and pay-as-you-go is a great idea, much better than the way most pilots do it. I would say don't worry about it. 4 years is fine for pay-as-you-go and the people screaming that you need to do things NOW and FAST are the ones that want to take your money or benefit from your (later) misfortune.
