Atlas simply does not fire people for no good reason in training. Every story I've ever heard - there was a reason. Just busting a ride isn't enough. That happens. Getting fired takes something more.

9 weeks in, that's type ride time, or very close to it.

You don't have to prove your story to me. You've moved on and are somewhere better. Good for you. But for those on the outside, Atlas has a lot of problems currently, but not with firing guys in training for no good reason.
It caught everyone off guard just as much as it does you. if I had a valid reason I would be satisfied but I only have a few ideas. In the end it all worked out. Two weeks prior to the ride.
