I like my own personal space but I did here that it goes to single man occupancy after the first week. I'm starting to make my plans now because I don't want to have to rush to pack up my belongings. I'm hoping to get based in DFW if I'm lucky enough. I would love to be based in DFW and its only a one leg flight home whenever I have the time to visit. Thanks so much for your time.
Giving up your apartment for that short a time period isn't a very good idea.

Training is pretty quick 5-6 weeks. What happens if they have a delay between ground and sim and send you home for a while? They also send you home for a week or so to do CBT after indoc. They send people home in the middle of sim for a couple days also. I guess you could stay at the Holiday Inn Bedford during CBTs with nobody else in your class there but that would really suck. It's good to be able to get the hell out of there every once and a while. I would go nuts living in that hotel the whole time. People do it though.

Where will you put all your stuff if you move out, storage? Then having to find a new apartment, new lease, new deposit as soon as you finish training and will be busy with your new schedule. Really not worth the hassle I wouldn't think.
