Lol....Them Virgin tails is purty and red...that's why Delta will buy them! The article cites continuity of branding with Virgin Atlantic...kind of a weak argument IMO. A better argument is Virgin America is firmly ensconced on the north side at LAX..where the big D is looking to move...who knows. It might pass Justice dept. muster because VA is hardly the scale of the remaining LCCs...Alaska, JB, Allegiant or even Hawaiian. DAL has about 100 of the A320 family with 45 321s coming soon...VAs complement would make a nice addition...Wondering about the seniority list? Simple....status and category...no DOH.
