I must have the rare ability to stay in a very good mood while keeping plenty of "fire in the belly." It happens to be a personal choice I make every day: I find plenty of things to feel blessed about every day, yes, including my amazing job as a domestic AA 737 FO and yes, including the profit sharing announcement that will put more money in my pocket...among tons of other things that I count as blessings.
That said, I have no problem continuing to strive for a switch to ALPA, as well as hold management accountable for all the contractual failures. I can do all this and still be in a great mood.
Rather than focusing on their strategy behind the profit sharing, I choose to enjoy the extra $$$ while continuing to fight for what we can control.
I'm not sure about your choice in beer[emoji6], and not sold on ALPA, but agree with the rest 100%
I still get awe inspired that I'm able, blessed and fortunate enough to follow my childhood dream, live in base and most important, have great family and friends. That being said - well, actually I think aa73 nailed the rest!
