Can anyone make any statements for QOL at Kalitta vs QOL at Atlas?
pros and cos on either side?
Also, I see posted in most places mins of 1500TT, 500 Turbine with previous heavy experience preferred and in other places I see 5000TT as the mins... which is it?
I am fresh regional airline captain with about 3000TT, 1500 Turbine 121, and only 100 Turbine 121 PIC.
I'm young, single, and the freighter life sounds very appealing to me. Also flying a 747 of any kind would be a dream come true for me. A Classic would be one of those filthy wet kind. Pretty much exactly the reason I wanted to be a pilot in the first place.
Thoughts on ways to make myself more appealing?
P.S. Initially the idea of Kallita hadn't occurred to me at all and I was all gun ho Atlas. Studying for their application test before I even apply, but a recent FO I had that was formerly Evergreen mentioned Kallita as an alternative stating that there was more turnover and movement therefore more seniority numbers between me and the bottom faster and I may be able to weather the next economic downturn at Kallita better than at Atlas. Thoughts on that?
