I love at the 2 hour mark west of BOS, during rush hour times I drive a bit closer, sit at a coffee shop and wait until traffic dies down. It can get grueling at times.....BUT I don't commute, and from what I understand, my "grueling times" aren't that bad. If there is something I need to get done while on reserve, I will call Crew Services and explain what I would like to do and see if there is anything they will use me for....and I roll the dice based on that info.
I also haven't flown much. Had to buy trips for currency. My QOL is wonderful.
My only hope (which I'm not holding breath for) is after the CBA the SCR timing goes from 2 to 3 hours.
