Does anyone know the reasons why a legal seniority trade doesn't process?

It's 2 days out, the trade is legal and the open trip is still showing "open". When I run the change/history report it says "Trade Not Processed". Trades have run 3 times since I requested the trade, the trip is still open but no joy for me. Someone throw me a bone.
