Perhaps you should tell them that in person at the next job fair eh? 😉
I hear you. Never said anyone was a bad person. I'm just old enough and have been doing this so long that I am just comparing it to old hiring practices. No doubt we produce a ton of good folks from our company. Most examples everyone was legit. My only point was that it used to be hard and fast that you needed 1000 TPIC whether you were Mother Theresa or not. :0 Now, that other stuff outweighs PIC and actual experience (again, most that left us for greener pastures had a ton).

Heck I remember JB was impossible to get on. You needed not only 1000 TPIC but they wanted 1000 TPIC in jets that weighed greater than 25,000 lbs! Now it's a "stepping stone" for a lot of pilots. Now we have Airbus Captains at Spirit at 25 years old and unhappy and treating that like a regional.

I'm just a guy with some observations is all. Maybe I'm talking too much on this forum lately. If so, thanks for pointing it out.
