The pay situation could be better, but overall the lodge is a huge improvement. I put a lot of value on being able to stroll between the hotel and the training center whenever I want. The food is good and varied, and the bar is open if you need to grab a beer after a tough training event.
When I hear people complain about the lodge I put that into the "pilots will always find something to complain about" category.
Have you considered a position in management... or are already there?
