I stayed at the lodge last year for training. It was fine. Sure anything gets old after awhile, but as was mentioned I liked the convenience of being near the sim/class. Plus, few distractions – it’d be fun fun if they built the thing on the strip in Vegas, but then I’d have washed out during Indoc with gambling rehab to follow. To celebrate not getting booted out, for the last week or so I found a cheap rental and made a few trips to the beach or wherever for a change of scenery – a good decision.

I will say I sure was happy to be done – but that was more about passing my check rides and looking forward to going home. Tailwinds Gents!
