It will be interesting to see if they go to a more traditional selection process once the pilot shortage really hits. Right now they are missing out on a lot of very qualified candidates who are going to UAL and DAL because of their finicky hiring and long delays.

SWA IT stinks. It isn't a secret in the company. Flight ops is actually one of the most technologically advanced departments, but only because the hardheadedness of a few key people who refused to back down when challenged by our Disinformation Technology department.
In reference to the long delays here vs other airlines, I just don't see that as being true. You can go from submitting your application to being in class here in the matter of two months if you time it right. I don't see that being the case at any of the others right now. We do a lot of things backwards, but we don't have a large hiring pool with tons of guys waiting 6 months to a year to start class.
Break break.
Before I got hired, I also got a TBNT email because I checked a wrong box on the form. I got in contact with them and they flushed it out and let me resubmit. They also suggested just using another email address and creating a new application that way.
Days later I got the invitation to interview.
