Picking up a few extra trips or skipping vacation, or bidding VBD can push it over $170 quite easily.
I'm not sure how guys are getting more than the allowed 11 days off but why would anyone pickup trips for straight pay and drop to less than 11 days off. I think you're way off on the comparison and look at United rates. They have set the bar. $143/hour for 3rd year FIRST OFFICER! Don't forget about the 16% direct contribution every 2 weeks plus profit sharing. But I guess we get profit sharing also, it's bands 2-4.
The money isn't even something that can be compared to anyone but F9 and NKS. You realize that WN guys have a max working of 15 days regardless of the number of days in the month? Don't forget their 9.7% match to their 401k also. Plus trip conflicts for vacation that gets them 3 weeks off.
I flew with a couple captains that are on reserve and won't break anywhere near $100k after taxes. Start adding in our expensive insurance, a pitiful 401k match and no profit sharing that number shrinks even more. Please for the sake of credibility don't try to compare G4 to anyone other than the LCCs in regard to finances.
How many hours does one at G4 have to fly to credit 95 hours?
