No exact numbers, but our VP of planning (JB, insanely smart guy) told me 2 weeks ago that attrition was "a real problem" and we are losing "5% of FO's and 3-4% of captains" per year.
At JB's road show, he told us that they were planning on 20% this year (15% FO, 5% captain). Some in the training department are being told to plan on upwards of 25% attrition.
With a limited supply of pilots and much better paying jobs elsewhere, we seem to be setting ourselves up for failure. But, I'm just a dumb pilot; me push buttons, me no understand bigger picture.
