It is a self-inflicted misery for them and counter-productive for Envoy in the long run IMO.
I don't expect you to defend him. He originally showed up saying he was an envoy pilot, talked about his seniority number, and that all turned out to be false. Now he apparently has no qualms about admitting that he is in fact not at envoy. If he had such noble intentions about propagating the truth then I wonder why he lied in the first place.
I disagree on it being 100% self inflicted. I've seen Ag and a few others jump into new threads shouting generic poor sentiments about envoy management, QOL, etc before anyone else has even responded with "salesmanship". The chicken or the egg?...
