All you can do is look at the previous hiring numbers and see what that trends to and make a projection. Aren't you in recruiting? Don't they have you looking at hiring numbers in the past and comparing to what you are getting now along with other carriers? I assume that you share info with other regionals.

I gave some a few posts up but here's a brief version. 44 new hires this year so far. With the super duper bonus announcement yesterday for Part 135 guys, you may see the numbers trend higher over the next couple of months but back down later averaging out to about 14.6 per month for 175 this year. Hey, didn't Eagle want to hire 600 in 2013 and you got what, about 150? A good many of those have since left the building thanks to AAGs draconian tactics.

Hired 150 in 2013. About 70 of those left. 12.5 average for 2013.
About 2780 total pilots on list at end of 2013.

Hired 110 in 2014. About 61 of those left. 9.1 average for 2014.
About 2370 total pilots on list at end of 2014.

Hired 100 in 2015. About 95 of those left. 8.3 average for 2015.
About 1960 total pilots on list at end of 2015.

Hired 44 in 2016. ?? are left. 14.6 average for 2016.
About 1850 total pilots on list at present.

Congratulations! Envoy has managed to chase off about 930 pilots through flow/normal attrition/retirement/flat out quitting, etc. in 2 1/2 years! A bit under 500 in flow alone since then so 430 just got fed up and left it seems. Looking at the list above, I'm leaning toward the good side in estimating hires for 2016. 175 is more than you've gotten in any year since 2013. We will see if it happens. If so, Envoy is still in trouble in regards to total staffing.

They don't want you to shrink anymore. AAG has finally figured out that they do indeed need pilots to fly their cheap feed and are throwing the cheap bucks at you right now. I said before that the floor was 1500 then revised to 1600ish. Now, with the CRJ's staying, 140/145's returning and possible new 175's, they need 1700-1800 in my estimation.

You don't have many to lose until you have to fill those vacancies.

Maybe they didn't see your post. Lemme help...
