I'm not saying that will happen, I'm only saying I've learned to plan only for the worst. I'm 41, and being at the bottom of a 12,000+ pilot list doesn't look very promising especially compared to being almost half way up the list in just over 2 years, like I am here.
Look brother, I'm on the same team as you. I don't think the legacies will furlough for a long time, just too many retirements.

You want to know what really ****es me off? The fact that I really do enjoy working here and love the camaraderie amongst our group. I actually believe in the Business model (execution needs help, as far as day to day to day ops go) I love our F/As and I enjoy this type of flying, but what ****es me off is having a guy like Jyri & Co running this place. I have zero faith in their willingness to negotiate a fair contract anytime soon.

Thats upsetting to me because I truly don't want to start over but it's in the best interest of my family to do so. 3-5 more years at these rates equals probably a million dollars of lost wages when it's all said and done. I understand all airline management is cut from the same clothe but at least those guys can figure out how to impliment new Paperwork or can understand if you don't staff for a ****ing thunderstorm in July you will put your airline on the brink of getting shutdown by the FAA due to loss of operational control.

It's like being on a baseball team with a lot of talented players but you Practice with tennis balls and come game time your equipment guy forgets to bring gloves & bats, lol
