Exactly.....delay delay delay and maybe the next terrorist strike/war/oil scare will throw the industry back into downsizing/furlough/concession mode. Whole new ball game. Meanwhile they reap millions to stash for their own strike fund if it comes to that. It's a credible & predictable management strategy. Honestly the gulf between what the pilots and management consider a reasonable package is so great I can't see a settlement through ordinary bargaining.
