So, that's the easy part! But what do I do, after I'm somehow lucky enough to get called for all of these 20 hour JRM's wafting around (offered in the order spelled out in the contract, BTW), when I hit my contractually limited 5 per year? Can't wait to hear...this is GREAT!
As far as the subsequent trip drop with move up goes...what catchphrase do I use with the scheduler to get this little perk? Because I've tried asking before and I didn't get it

...and to hit the 115+ EVERY month i'm guessing it has to work EVERY time. Do I use a code name like "Ferrari" or "Bimini"? Should I make slurping sounds in the phone like I'm sucking a teat? WHAT'S THE SECRET?!!!
Thanks! This is great...I'm gonna be RICH!
Take every story with a grain of salt. The 200-300 hour months are probably mostly if not all gone. Yes, we do have a select few that seem to get called for everything. Call your union rep and talk to them. Ask to see the reports. I'd bet most of this bragging is just exaggerated stories that get blown out of proportion after it passes through 10 guys. Yes, we did have guys regularly credit times like that but it was back when we had 400 pilots. If someone does it now they have maybe 8 days off a month.
Either way, talk to a rep if you think it's unfair. I'm not lecturing but coming on here complaining about it, even if you're joking it won't do much. There has been a lot of confusion about scheduling stuff and it wouldn't hurt if the union put out some emails about this stuff. The one that came out last week about relief lines confused me. It used to be relief lines with lower numbers had more trips and higher numbered lines had more RSV. Now they're saying its back to senoriy only. What changed? We still have the same contract. And if something did how? The union needs to make sure the contract is enforced or keep the practice that has been used if it's legal.
