You do realize that recruiters need warm bodies to fly their planes and they'll tell you anything to get you into class? I wouldn't burn that bridge if I were you. Any job application you fill out from now until you get your dream job, you're going to have to put down the contact information for your boss at this job. Who knows whether they'll call your boss or not, but do you want to have to worry about it?
And...lose the attitude. "I don't feel like racking up the hours I don't need anymore and this job is utterly boring." If it weren't for this job, you wouldn't have the 1500 hours you need to get on at a regional, so at least try to sound appreciative that you were given the opportunity over other applicants.
