You know, I talk to a lot of guys who were around this place in 1986 after the strike. They tell of the outrageous b-scale and the low morale and how everybody thought the airline pilot job would never pay what it "used to". These were the same guys earning $300/hour in 2003. My point? the future is uncertain my friend.
