Last batch had between 50,000 and 60,000 cycles. Just like the vaunted 757s that were supposed to be reliable and dependable, the tired old buses will be maintained in like fashion and face the same fate. The pain for passengers and crews will continue long after the md-80s and 757s have been retired. G4's promising future.
