With all the information about how hard/bad it is in the Regionals and trying to land the dream Job we all had when we started. The reality of not getting to the level we thought in the amount of time we wanted has became apparent to anyone wanting this career. When I started we did not have the internet to research any jobs today any teenager planning his/her career field can find many negative's about the Pilot career. The Airline Management of the past by not paying what a Pilot is worth/Pensions has created there own nightmare and they are trying to fix the image as best as they can. Reading a lot of post that sound as if they have created a position in the Human Resources department in their cubical all day reading these post and trying to put a good spin on the Piloting career in hopes of restoring the dream. The other problem is that Banks are not giving Student Loans to anyone wanting to finance the Pilot education. At least that is what I have heard.
