If one has a job, the people who are in a position to know are telling you that you don't want to quit it and go to Atlas
(nee Southern).
And for those who are out of work, the opportunities for enjoying livable wages, upgrades, and flow-throughs at regional carriers have never been better. So why seek out known moderate or worse turbulence, when there are plenty of chances to operate in smooth air?
Nobody is trying to trick you, and keep all the good flying for themselves. Its a constant, universal warning to avoid Atlas because current and forecast conditions are not favorable.
