You need to find a way to afford one of the aviation medicine consulting companies. If you think they're expensive, that's nothing compared to what it could cost if you address this with the FAA in the wrong manner. This issue is very common in your generation, and in many cases ADD was over-diagnosed and over-medicated. But it can take a lot of time and money to get resolved with the FAA, and may never get resolved.
Your best bet is to get expert advice BEFORE you talk to the FAA or an AME or fill out any FAA paperwork.
