I want more soft time for less work. Frankly, pay should be more duty time and trip time focused. We should have better trip rigs across the whole industry. 3:1 should be the standard, but just look at what the regional guys have to put up with 4:1 is if they are lucky.
Why do you keep comparing us to the Regionals? Why? The Regionals only exist because the Majors sold their scope years ago, for pay rates. Now the Regionals can't find enough pilots willing to work for minimum wage, so why would you want to compare any Mainline Pay/Benefit to the Regionals?
You ain't at the regionals anymore, so knock that crap off. Is your real goal to drag the Main Line down to Regional rules?.
Oh, and on the credit/block pay pay thing, if we had a 75 hour cap, like in the good old days, when we also had a retirement, the company would have to hire more and upgrade more F/O's to Captain. More Money, More Time Off. Working 90 hours a month average today is nuts, compared to the 12 days, 75 hour months we used to fly, back when the company only made $350 million per year.
